Nederlandse Onderzoekschool voor Astronomie (NOVA)
De Nederlandse Onderzoekschool voor Astronomie (NOVA) coördineert en stimuleert het sterrenkundig onderzoek in Nederland.
NOVA bundelt de krachten van astronomen aan de universiteiten van Amsterdam (UvA), Groningen (RUG), Leiden (UL) en Nijmegen (RU). NOVA werkt nauw samen met de NWO-instituten SRON en ASTRON.

Astronomy is considered to be top-science in The Netherlands. NOVA was selected as top-research school in 1998 following an open national competition, and is as such receiving substantial funding by the Dutch Ministry of Education.
